Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what Exitember collects when you invite or use the bot, how that data is used, and your choices. Contact: exitember@zoitra.com.
1. Who we are
Exitember is operated by Team Zoitra (“operator”). The bot runs leave
surveys for Discord servers that invite it. Survey answers for a server may be shown to
that server’s moderators via a staff log channel configured with /setup.
2. What we collect
When someone leaves a Discord server that has invited Exitember, we may process:
- Discord user ID
- Username / tag at the time of leave
- Guild (server) ID
- Leave timestamp
- DM delivery status (and a short error message if the DM fails)
- Survey answers (multiple-choice values and optional free text), if the DM succeeds and the person responds

We do not collect payment card data, advertising identifiers, or analytics from this public website. This static site has no trackers, analytics scripts, or API keys.
3. How we use data
- To run the leave survey and record completion or DM failure
- To post staff embeds summarizing answers to the configured channel for that guild
- To provide aggregate stats (e.g.
/survey-stats) to server managers - To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service
Direct messages are sent only for the leave survey. We do not sell personal data. We do not use the bot for advertising.
4. Where data is stored
Application data is stored in Supabase Postgres in a project hosted by the operator. The Discord bot process (self-hosted or on a host such as Railway) uses a server-side service role key to talk to the database. That key is never embedded in this website or exposed to Discord clients. Database tables use Row Level Security (RLS); the public site has no API keys.
5. Who can see survey answers
Staff channel embeds may show leave survey answers to moderators and others who can read the configured log channel in that Discord server. The operator may access stored data as needed to run and support the service.
6. Retention and deletion
Data is retained while the bot is used for a guild, or until the operator deletes it. Server administrators may request deletion of their guild’s data by emailing exitember@zoitra.com. We will make reasonable efforts to delete guild-related records after verifying the request.
7. Discord’s terms and privacy
Use of Discord is also governed by Discord’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Exitember cannot control Discord’s processing of data on Discord’s platform.
8. Children
Exitember is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, contact us so we can delete it.
9. Security
- Service role credentials stay on the server; they are never shipped to browsers or Discord users
- RLS is enabled on application tables
- This public site is static HTML/CSS/JS only, with no third-party analytics CDNs or trackers
- Guild settings are configured in Discord via slash commands; this site does not store bot tokens
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; use Discord and Exitember accordingly.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the bot after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
