Know why members leave

Exitember is a Discord bot that DMs departing members a short leave survey and posts a summary to your staff channel — so moderators get honest exit feedback without awkward follow-ups.

Install Setup

What it does

Listens when someone leaves a server that invited the bot
Tries to DM them a 3-question survey (plus optional free text)
Stores answers and posts a staff embed to the channel you configure with /setup
Still logs the leave if DMs fail (common with Discord privacy settings)

Invite & setup overview

Invite Exitember from the Install page (View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, Use Application Commands).
In the Discord Developer Portal, enable Server Members Intent for the bot.
In each server, run /setup log_channel:#your-staff-channel (requires Manage Server).
Optional: /survey-stats for aggregate leave reasons.
